Welcome

Eva Drive Baptist Church strives to share the love of the Lord
with mission opportunities which allows our members to go
into the community, both near and far.  Below are some of the
missions EDBC has been bless to participate in.  Check back
during the year to see what we have done and where we are going.

FUN WITH THE SON
During the summer, EDBC provided a service for mothers to be able
leave their children in a Christian setting to play and learn while
running errands.  Barbara Clay led a group of dedicated members in
teaching the children about Jesus and how to be more like Him.
This year our program ran from the middle of June through the
first of August.

VBS
Our Vacation Bible School was six evenings of fun and learning for
all ages in the middle of July.  From infants to adults, EDBC held
classes to expand the knowledge of the Bible for all who attended.
An evening meal was provided to allow everyone to come straight
from work without needing to worry about feeding the family.  During
this week of activities EDBC was blessed this year with and average
attendance of 100 for each day.

BARNESVILLE MISSION
EDBC took a small group of adults and youth to Barnesville, Ohio
this summer to assist Pastor Rodney West and First Baptist Church
of Barnesville with their Backyard Bible Club.  On this 5 day trip,
our group, led by Pastor Keith Navey, visited young people
in different neighborhoods of the Barnesville community.

HAPPY FACES
Near the end of October EDBC was able to host HAPPY FACES for a
spaghetti dinner.  We were able to serve nearly 80 meals and provide
entertainment to some of the physically and mentally challenged
residences of Cabarrus County.  This year was the largest group of the
three years EDBC has enjoy providing fellowship with the HAPPY FACES.
 
SERVANTHOOD EVANGELISM
This year EDBC was involved in two projects in which our
members used candy with a small scripture and church information
label to allow us to witness to people in downtown Concord during
special events in the months of October and November.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST
The EDBC 10th Annual Free Pancake Breakfast was held on November 25th.
We use this annual event to give the community an opportunity to
visit and have fellowship with us while enjoying a wonderful breakfast.
EDBC would like to thank Wayside Family Restaurant of Concord for
their donations that made this event a success.  EDBC used the Concord
Christmas Parade to distribute cards with information about our church
and the Pancake Breakfast.

MOUNTAIN MISSION
EDBC was bless with the ability to provide 113 boxes of food, over
500 Christmas presents of clothing and over 400 childrens gifts to
to the less fortunate people of the North Carolina mountains.
Donations by local businesses and church member made it possible to
bring the joy of Christmas and let over 1000 people feel Gods love.
